trying to make myself understand it, no Saturday morning begging from door to door in field circus no more driving out of town for an assembly I'm

never going to remember what they talked about anyway!

The PULL of the organization is like GRAVITY it pulls on you everywhere you go your choice of friends entertainment education recreation employment

your speech your dress and grooming spouse bedroom you name they have their nose in it, it feels good to be FREE!

How does freedom taste or feel to you? First thing you did or what is your perspective on life now blinders are off?

"Think About It" that was awesome! I think this helps take away some of the fear for those lurking that elders are just people and some of their actions

shouldn't be tolerated it's sick that these men do it under the false authority of Jehovah but people should stand up for themselves

where killed with the expressed permission of Jehovah God himself! So what do you think? The count for Jehovah is conservatively placed a little over 2 million! And we are not talking about the blood bath that's coming according to Jehovah's Witnesses

i mean for a considerable amount of time, not just in audience listening to a talk?

no offense to any professed partakers on here, but the ones i have spent time with have all seemed a little off has that been your experience?.

Yes in the context of the early beginnings of the Org. having someone profess to be of the anointed would be no odder than someone now saying they will live forever on earth petting tigers and lions in their backyard yet I still consider them to be stable or normal so I can see that.

That's good to know some of these chosen ones have their scruples, but I must ask have any of you asked them how do they know they are anointed?

The answers I have gotten is just you just know that it's a strong feeling that's about as much as I have gotten for an answer, anybody

get anything different? I mean Hollywood and NY city is just filled with people who just know they where meant to be a star and they have a strong

feeling that it will happen! How is this any different?

i've breezed through it and noticed that it is littered with odd stuff that would scream "cult!

" to an outsider, but which your average indoctrinated jw will just lap up as always.. here is my pick of the quotes.... the first article, entitled "this is our spiritual heritage" gives a very flattering whistle-stop tour of the history of god's organization - from abraham to tynedale to rutherford (bypassing russell altogether) before explaining that nothing will ever thwart jehovah's purposes.
